My battery was disconnected, so the radio went dead on my 1994 Civic. I got the 5-digit radio code, but I cannot get the radio to accept the code.
According to instructions, I need to turn on the radio, which will make the radio frequency window to show “CODE”
At which time, I entered the code by pressing the radio channel pre-set button, but nothing happens. In another brand car with anti-theft code, I see the code show up on the radio frequency window as I press them in.
I don’t see any number appear on the frequency window. What is happening?
The radio worked perfectly fine before the battery went dead.
