How can I fix my broken support cylinder to the body of my lift gate? It broke off completely . Help

My ford car in not running properly. I have fix my broken cylinder from the car wholesale repair and dealer, but it is now completely broken down. Suggest me what to do next

Model, year? Do you man it won’t hold up the hatch? Or that the place where it stitches broke off?

“My ford car/truck is not running properly.”

Boy…if I only had a nickel for every time I’ve heard that statement…I’d be a wealthy man. You need to answer texases question before we can proceed.

I suspect that English isn’t your native language, so we’re having some trouble understanding what you mean here. Could you attach a picture? That could be easier for us.

Lift gate support cylinder replacements are readily available at parts stores. See the counter man.

But I agree with everyone else, a lot more information would help, such as year, make, and model.

Is the liftgate broken or does the car not run?

I occasionally congratulate myself on my success at reading between the lines of posts from desperate car owners but my first take on the problem here was along the lines of a Tommy Lift with a broken hydraulic cylinder…

needless to say I’m WAAAAY off on that.

Maybe. We won’t know until Emma gives us more information.
Emma? (note: if it’s Olivia, you have my sincerest apologies).

We have lots of vehicles in our fleet with hydraulic lift gates . . . and I was thinking the same thing as you, initially

Well thanks for your replies guys.

We took the time to try to help and you can’t even take the time to tell us what lift you’re referring to? Ain’t that sweet.
