I’m removing the exhaust on my 99 Honda Civic. I’m confused as to where to remove them. Do I take the exhaust off where it meets the hangers or where the hangers meet the bottom of the car? And now assuming you’ve answered that: is there any special trick to getting them off or do you just grease them up and pull them off? Thanks for the help guys.
Remove the exhaust hangers from whichever area they're eaiest to remove. Spray them with a silicone lubricant to make removal easier. You can try prying the exhaust hangers off but this tool makes it much easier. http://www.handsontools.com/Kastar-436A-Exhaust-Hanger-Removal-Pliers_p_5788.html
