I have a 2008 Honda CRV with 2,000 miles. When the vehicle is in motion, there is an intermittent crinkling noise coming from the steering wheel area. It is similar to the sound of something electrical about to short out, but the noise is hard to hear when it occurs. I’ve taken it to Honda twice and they think it’s the valves performing normally, but also most of the techs either can’t hear the noise or are unable to reproduce. The noise irritates me and is something I’ve never heard in a car, any ideas?
