I have a '94 honda civic Lx 1.5 liter & need a muffler i found a “brand new condition” off a similar yr.civic si. its a oem replacement. will it fit my car ?person selling for 1/3 price of off the shelf & im trying to save a few $ Thanks for help/answer
The Civic “SI” uses a different engine than your LX. The mufflers may be different.
You could consult a Honda parts counter to see if the mufflers are interchangeable.
You might go to the Advance Auto site and do a cross-reference search by comparing part numbers.
A quick look at the first muffler on the list shows a generic muffler as having the same part number for both the LX and the Si so in theory it should work.
