I live in Kelowna BC. Canada but I was in Calgary Alberta Can. & bought 3 litres of honda Auto. trans. oil.at a honda dealer. They sold me this new synthetic ATFDW-1 said the old fluid has been replaced with this.Never thought to ask them if this would be ok for my 2006 CRV. Would any of you have any good info on this new fluid. Do you think it would be safe to use in my CRV ?
Honda Z1 is still very much available. The new fluid is full synthetic, unlike Z1, and is supposed to be fully compatible with Z1 fluid transmissions. Since Z1 is in fact still available, I’d find some and use it instead of the new stuff.
