I drive my 2005 Honda Accord V6 around 50 miles a day and it is at 69,492 miles. Should I have the brake fluid and power steering fluids changed? If so, how often?
Look at the color of the power steering fluid. If it’s dark replace it. It’s oxidized.
The brake fluid can be tested with a strip to indicate the moisture content. But if the brake fluid is original, it probably requires replacement.
You’re basically at a point where you should service all the fluids in the vehicle.

According to Honda brake fluid is every 3-4 years irrelevant to miles.
Note that Honda recommends (read: demands) that the transmission fluid be drained and replaced; not flushed. Read it in the owner’s manual. When done, it is repeated twice for a total of 3 times. If you take it to a reputable dealer, this is exactly what they will do. You can buy the ATF-Z1 and do it yourself if you like. Also note that you must use ATF-Z1 and no other fluid.
Ive had 2 2003 Accords 1 2004 Accords. Because the 5 speed auto is known to overheat, I changed the transmission every 30-35,000 mils. I have never had an issue. I have a Honda dealer do a drain and fill with genuine Honda fluid. Never an issue.
I would replace the brake fluid every 50,000 miles or whenever it is dirty. Always use Honda fluid. Honda’s will leak out the brake fluid if the wrong stuff is used.
Replace power steering fluid once it’s dirty or 3 years. I’ve never had to repair my powersteering.
I would replace the brake fluid every time I replace the pads. I don’t normally replace the power steering fluid. You can use any dot 3 brake fluid in a Honda, but the power steering fluid must meet Honda specs, the generic stuff should not be used.
