My remote door locks work some time and fail at other times. Seem to be better in the cold but I can’t wait until winter to open the doors.
You don’t mention year, but my '06 Accord remote (built into the key) has a battery that needs to be replaced occasionally, according to the manual, mine has not died yet. Maybe yours is getting weak and needs to be replaced? I have found that holding the key/remote up, not pointing at the car, works better. There was a long discussion about this several months ago.
