Hinda Accord 2001- problems while reversing

Hi Guys,

I have Honda Accord 2001, couple of years ago Honda replaced transmission system as it was failed. Now my car has 115K miles, so not under warranty.

While reversing some times car is not taking gas and also not moving. I need to switch to Park and then to reverse to reverse the car.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Do I need to replace transmission system? Thanks in advance for the replies.

When was the last time the transmission fluid was replaced?

have you checked the fluid to make sure it’s at the proper level?

I would also suggest that there may be a linkage issue, but I believe that paradise has the most likely problem addressed.
