Hi! I have a 2000 Toyota Camry. I bought it used about 3 years ago with 54000 miles. It now has about 90000 I am trying to find out why when I first start the car, start moving and make a turn (slight or sharp) I hear a noise in the front-end. It kind of sounds like a spring or “uurrr” and lasts 2-3 seconds. This noise has been happening since I purchased the car and doesn’t act any better or worse in the warm or cold weather of New Jersey.
The Camry will not make the noise again at slow or fast speeds until I shutoff the car and start it again.
Thank you for your help!
It could be a number of things. Control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rods, upper strut mounts, engine mounts, frame mounts, sway bar bushings.
Have the suspension checked.
Thank you!
