Help changing headlamp in 2006 Ford focus

I’m trying to change the headlamp on the drivers side of my 2006 ford focus. This is my first time attempting to change a headlamp by myself. I’ve gotten as far as to remove the rubber cap and twist the black ring that locks in the bulb assembly, however, when I try to pull the bulb assembly out, it won’t come out. I’m afraid to use much force because I don’t want to break anything. Advice?

Remove the black locking ring. Then the bulb holder should pop right out. You may not be using enough force. This video might help.

The bulb has a seal, which is stuck to the headlamp

You need to wiggle the bulb side to side, to break that seal
