Help buying a used car

I am looking a buy either a used 2004 honda civic sedan or a 2005 chevy malibu sedan. Both have about 98000 miles and are about the same price. The malibu is a v6 and the civic is a v4. The civic should get better gas millage and the malibu is slightly bigger.



Any insight into these cars would be appreciated.

There is not enough information. What model, what trim level, and is the Civic manual or auto transmission? Both are reliable cars. What is the asking price of each? And most important, what is the condition of each? Are the receipts available for them, or at least the owner’s maintenance log? They are 5 and 6 years old. How they were maintained is the most important thing.
