I recently bought a used 2004 E150 conversion van with 4.6 liter V8. I’ve noticed that the accelerator is much heavier than any of my other cars. Is there anything I can do to make the accelerator lighter?
Do you mean it’s hard to push?
Check the throttle cable for binding and check the throttle body for coking. The throttle body develops a black coating called coking and it can cause the throttle plate to stick or bind.
