my former company built adhesive application equipment and we built a machine to assemble battery trays for tesla. about 2007. each tray had 700 lithium batteries. just like you see in cordless drills. or laptop battery packs. you ever take one apart? 5 or 6 cell packs. i placed batteries in test trays a few times.
I’ll bet it took a battery of engineers to do that… or an engineer of batteries…
