The right rear window on my Toyota Highlander has mysteriously opened by itself twice in the last week overnight. Both times the doors were locked and the key not in the ignition. The first time it went back up. This time it won’t. Is it haunted or is there a mechanical explanation for this?
If its power operated I suspect the window motor isn’t holding.

I have a similar problem with only my driver’s side window on my '02 Highlander. I don’t have a solution yet, please let me know if you found one. I posted the question as “power window mystery '02 Toyota”. Good luck.
