I have a friend in Georgia who is paralyzed from waist down. He has a car but needs modifications for hand driving. Does anybody know of a car shop that can help him with modification in middle Georgia?
They should have a family doctor to ask or even United Way and Google might give an answer.
Edit: I just put ( vehicle modifications for handicap in Georgia ) and found all sorts of info.
Cool, Thanks much! A friend just called - there’s one 20 miles away from us: Quail Country Customs in Byron, Georgia! Just in case anybody else needs the info. Thanks for the tip. MD might know of financing available, too! Have a great day, or night!
I’m sure your friend knows, but almost every major automaker offers substantial discounts to the disabled and local dealers can help with referrals to shops. Here is one example. Best of luck.
