I purchased a used 2007 Toyota Rav 4 4WD. A year after I bought the car, the brakes started squealing. I took it and the brakes were replaced. 6 months later they started grinding, took it in and was told they were fine and were “resurfaced”. A month later they started grinding again. Took it in again, and was told the brakes were fine. My brother-in-law also inspected the brakes and rotor and could not find anything wrong. If the brakes are fine, why are the brakes grinding after a short period after being replaced?
Did you get OEM brakes. After market metalic brakes will some times make the ginding sound. I always use Toyata pads.
‘Toyata’? Is that a cheap Indonesian knock-off? ;D
