Hi i have a 2004 chev. My blower stopped working. bought a new blower motor and its still not working. What else could it be ?
Do ANY of the blower speeds work?
If no speed works, OP may have a blown fuse or a bad electrical switch or connection. That should be checked out first.
I presume you mean the HVAC blower. Faulty fuse, switch, ground, & electronic module (or blower resistor block) are all possibilities. A blower motor is just simple DC motor, goes faster the higher the voltage input. Suggest to start by measuring the voltage to it on the various fan speed switch settings. It could also be stalling out b/c of debris in the fan cage area, but if you’ve replaced the motor already you probably already verified the fan rotates freely.
