I have a 99 Chevy Cavalier. The blower is not working in the car at any speeds on the vent control switch. I do feel heat and a/c coming through the vents a little. The lower speeds on the blower went bad a few weeks ago. Finally, the highest speed stopped working. Any ideas what could be the problem?
That sounds like the fan motor is going bad. It then draws more than the usual current and starts blowing out the resistors in the speed control. The fix is a new motor and resistor pack.
