gm apparently has a problem with the intake manifolds leaking on the v6 engines.
is there any recall on this issue?
what can be done?

They’re designed to leak. It seems that the company is also leaking. There must be a dealer nearby.
There has been a class action lawsuit against gm…but so far there hasn’t been a single recall. It’s NOT just their V6 engines…some of the V8’s also. Friend of mine who owns a Pontiac and GMC dealer had to put on two extra mechanics just to take care of this problem.
