Getting ready to sell a car

I am getting ready to sell my car to a very dear friend, who has very little money. Before I sell it to her, I would like to have the car serviced properly so three weeks after she gets it, she doesn’t need to pay for maintenance. It’s a 1998 Honda Accord with 86,000 miles and no skipped recommended service “check-ups.”

Is there anything specific I should have serviced or looked at prior to selling this vehicle?

Just do what is listed in the owner’s manual.

I should have considered the timing belt. If it is original and if it has a belt and not a chain and it is that old, it likely due based on time if not miles. Check the owner’s manual.
