I have a 2001 Subaru Outback Wagon (4cyl). I need to replace the cigarette lighter (aka 12 volt power supply) and attach an iPod cable to my in-dash CD player.
HOWEVER, I can’t seem to detach the faux wood dash insert that surrounds the center of the dash - it’s hung up at the narrow part on the bottom (right above the in dash cassette changer). Anyone know what the trick is to releasing it?
OK, OK - it’s a CD Changer, not a “cassette changer” - potato, potahtoe…
