i have a 95 olds with the 3100 its a front wheel drive and its leaking at the front right half shaft i do not know much about this car is there just a seal in the punkin or could it be something elese
Yes, there is an axle shaft seal. You remove the axle, replace the seal, replace the axle and you’re done. I’ve left out some details, such as draining the transaxle fluid and other things but that’s it in a nutshell.
Every leak doesn’t doesn’t have to be fixed. I am saving thousands of dollars, in (my) labor and parts, on my 15 year old car, by “lettin’er leak”.
It would depend if such a leak would cause you to fail a vehicle inspection
