I have a 2003 Impala with 54K miles - I have replaced the brake pads and rotors on the front and rear pads. At speeds higher than 35 mph I feel the front end shake (steering Wheel), feel and pulsation (brake pedal). Any ideas what could be causing this problem?
Well, if there’s a pulsation in the brake pedal, it means there’s a warped brake rotor.
There are a few of things that can cause new brake rotors to warp. Installing none OEM type or cheap brake rotors, failure to properly break in the new rotors and pads, heavy use of the brakes, and not properly torqued lug nuts.

And one other thing I forgot to mention. Since this vehicle is rear-wheel-drive, check for a worn or out of adjustment wheel bearing. If the rotor doesn’t run true because of this, it can cause this problem.

Tester, did you have a brain fart? 2003 Impala is FWD. ( :
Yup! I did!

I felt this right after the installation of the new rotors. What is the prper break in method for new rotors and brake pads?
Thank you for any all suggestions!
Rear rotors are warped. Replace them and your problem will go away.
I will try that next thanks.
