When I turn corners in my 95 Honda Accord there is a popping sound that is emitted. After doing some research I determined it was the CV Joints that were going bad and my mechanic agreed (unless one of you tells me otherwise). Now the problem is is that I’ve had the front axel replaced at least 4 times and it will be between 6-12 months before that God forsaken sound returns. Is it that the CV joints aren’t lasting even a year for some reason or is it something else?
Who is replacing them and are you getting new, re manufactured etc. Has your car had a good alignment?
I take it to a guy that my family has been going to for years. Since it’s been in there so many times he only charges me for labor. I should probably know if they are new or not, but I don’t know the answer to that. It was aligned about a year ago, haven’t had any problems since.
