I purchased a new 2006 Mazda3 last summer. A short time after I drove it off the lot I began having issues with my front tires skidding in place or squealing loudly when I accelerate, even if it is a light acceleration to move in bumper-to-bumper traffic. My tires are always full and at every oil change/maintenance I ask the same question and have an inspection performed. Each time I receive the same answer from the mechanics - that the skidding is “normal”. I no longer feel safe after a recent skid-scare while breaking. I do not feel safe in bad weather. I would like to know if these issues are indeed “normal”.
