Hey all. I have a 1994 Ford Probe with a 2.0l engine and manual transaxle but the engine is blown. I found a 1994 Probe with a 2.0l but it has an automatic trans. Will the engine from the auto bolt right onto a manual trans? Thank you in advance for any advice you can give.
I can’t see any reason why not. Same year, same engine.
You are likely to get very specific advice if you go to a Probe-specific board. My SOTP advice for any swap in a modern vehicle is that you should be sure to get all the sensors and wiring harness from the donor car and anything connected to them. OTOH, this is probably not an OBDII car so maybe it is not as important.
