i was writing yesterday about my '95 ford escort going dead whenever i make sharp turns. it also misses alot. some people think it could have something to do with sediment in the gas tank. i just want to know if anyone else thinks this could be the reason or if not, then what?
I doubt it has anything to do with gasoline.
Start with having your coil packs checked. Then replace your ignition switch.

The ‘quitting’ could be a worn ignition switch.
When it quits when you turn the steering wheel, that’s petty good indicator.
As for the skipping.if you’ve replaced the plugs & wires, then have someone check your coil (pack). You can buy a used one at a junk yard for not too much money.
WERE IS THE EDIT BUTTON ON THIS BOARD???
ok, i thought it could have something to do with the ignition too. sometimes, when i put the key in it won’t turn. i’ve been told it goes dead because of a burned valve. does that sound right to you?
