I just baught this truck from a used car dealership in Portland, OR. I love the truck, runs great. Lately (last several days), when I first start the vehicle, it stutters and dies when I try and accelerate. I have to baby it for the first few miles till it does what ever it does and starts to run fine. Once it’s warmed up, it’s fine.
I had the fuel filter replaced and it was covered with a fine grey powder-like substance when the tech. had never seen.
Any ideas???
Sounds like a batch of dirty fuel or fuel tank corrosion. You could drain the tank and see what the remaining fuel looks like.
