F150 drivetrain noise

I own a 99 F150 4X4 with 4.6/manual trans and 92000 miles. Recently there I noticed a clicking noise from the drive train when I take off in first and second gear (or when the drivetrain is under load). The clutch is disengaged (out) and I am moving. When the clutch is engaged no noise. Rev the engine clutch in or in neutral no noise. I recently had the transfer case oil changed and I am wondering if that is the cause. Any suggestions?

Check the transmission lube level and make sure the right lube was put in your transfer case. Check on line for the right lubes and then ask the mechanic what was/will be used.

It makes the noise when your clutch pedal is depressed? Check your throw-out bearing.
