I had a rear wiper motor electrical short draining the battery. After replacing the motor, when the key is turned on the rear washer only continues to pump. What’s wrong now? Is there another part that also needs to be replaced?

Sounds like it’s in the washer switch but a short, such as a wires rubbed through to ground out, would produce a similar ‘on’ condition.
Sorry… It’s a 2004 Ford Explorer NBX, 4 door 6 cylinder
