Several months ago my driver’s side window shattered spontaneously. The window and the regulator arm which was bent out of shape were replaced. The dealer stated the automatic window motor was not the problem, but couldn’t tell me what caused the arm to bend or the window to break. Now the driver’s side window has moved up in the door to the point where it cannot be fully closed. I’m concerned the window is about to break again because there is too much pressure being exerted on it by the motor and/or arm. Any ideas of what the problem is and how to solve it?

You’re going to need to remove the inner door panel to determine why it’s binding.
