Bear in mind, George, that when Tesla has a recall that requires a software update, it is done “over the air” and requires no action on the part of the vehicle owner. It was the same last week when they had to “tighten up” the software for their autonomous driving function.

The autonomous driving software fix is in the second half of the article that @George_San_Jose1 linked. I own a Model 3 and didn’t play the $6000 fee to activate autonomous driving. While I’m reasonably sure I got the software fix for autonomous driving, it won’t matter. Failures like that are the reason I didn’t sign up for autopilot.
