The front driver-side window and rear passenger-side window jammed today in my 2000 Hyundai Elantra. When I press the buttons I can hear the motors whirring but nothing happens. Was fine until yesterday! What do I do? Should I try and fix this myself?
It’s either sticky windows or broken regulators, but probably the regulators. You can check by taking the door panels off, peeling back the plastic, and inspecting the regulator mechanism. If it’s a cable system, the cable should be detached somewhere.
