this message is for paul from aspen who stated that he had a duck-like noise from the left front wheel that was speed related. this was discussed on last week’s show. paul, i think you may have a bad tire. several years ago when i was working for a dealership, we ran across a bunch of tires that made a rhythmic scrunching noise after reaching a particular speed. turned out that the radial belts within the tire carcass had shifted (ply separation?) and the belts were essentially chafing against each other, thus producing this “scrunch-scrunch” or duck quacking type sound. there was no visible evidence on the exterior of the tire, but replacing the tire(s) solved the problem. try rotating the tire to a different location and see if things change. best of luck
