Hi all,
Does someone know how this nut is called? I need one for my door handle. The bolt is M6 and I tried with a rivet nut, but the hole is too small for it, and I do not want to drill because of the paint damage.
Thanks is advance.

There are many different sizes and types of rivet nuts or set nuts. The type with the hexagon base is also used for running board installation. You should be able to order replacement from the vehicle manufacture’s parts department.
Thanks for the comment. I went to my auto parts shop but they don’t have it.
It’s very unlikely that you’ll find something like that at a general parts store. That’s why Nevada suggested …
You didn’t say what year/make/model, but just search the web for OEM replacement parts. Find the relevant parts diagram and order. Or go to a local dealer’s parts department.
Okey. Thanks cigroller.
Y.M.M.?
(Year, Make, & Model?)
Just incase you are unclear, a vehicles manufactures parts department means if you have a Ford, go to Fords parts department, if you have a Nissan, go to Nissan parts department, etc etc etc…
As you were informed in your other thread this is mostly a USofA forum and Citroen is not sold here . Just go to your local Citroen dealer parts department and if they don’t have one they will know where to get one.
You can also look for it at your local savage yards…
You’re good!
Howd’ya figure out from the photo that it was from a Citroen?
