should one get the induction service based on mileage
They have boat payments coming due so, yes, that is what the people who SELL that service tell you.
Does the car run OK? Yes? Don’t bother.

No. Do what the owners manual tells you as far as maintenance, based on mileage and time. Induction service is not likely to be recommended by the carmaker. It’s a money maker for the dealer, once they have paid for the machine, but seldom does it do any measurable good for the car or the car owner.
Did the dealer recommend this? How many miles on your car? As long as you have kept up on maintenance as detailed in the maintenance manual, you shouldn’t need it. In my experience, your car should never need it.
