I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan SE 4.L engine. Both of the window regulators (the cables broke) need to be replaced. OEM aftermarket shows that the regulators are for 1996 to 2000. I also noted that the 2001 to 2003 look about the same, but I wonder if the latter were improved and would they fit in my 2000. The 2000 variety really looked puny? Anyone out there in “AutoSpace” have any suggestions.
I can also save $14.20 if I buy a pair (RT and Lt. front door) of the 2001 to 2003/ whereas the 2000 pair cost 108.60 vs 94.40. I am not as interested in the 14bucks as I am interested in a little
better design.
Thank You
I think there will be lots of guesses here.
You’d probably be better off phoning a dealer.
The newer style regulator only has a 23% chance of working, in my opinion.
The newer regulators may not look as puny, but they still stink. I’ve replaced three of them in my 03 Caravan.
