Did I kill my power steering?

I recently replaced the combination wiper/turn switch in my 99 Ranger. This required pulling the steering wheel etc. When reattaching the wheel, I stripped out the bolt, even though I used a torqure wrench set to 50 lbs. (I also had to guess at how to reattach the horn wiring, because I accidentally pulled them out of the plug end). Now the steering wheel vibrates when turning at slow speeds. What did I do wrong and how do I correct it?

Thanks,

Need you to clarify your symptom here. Does the steering wheel vibrate while turning the wheel at low speeds or does it vibrate after you turn the steering wheel to some angle, hold it and the car is turning at a low speed? In other words, does the steering wheel vibrate while it is being moved or when it is held steady at some angle off center?
