old taurus buck badly when trying to down shift going up long grades with cruise control on. Have to turn off cruise and de-excellerate to make it stop
What year is this Taurua and how many miles on engine? I am thinking of a fuel deliver or spark problem. Has the fuel pump been replaced recently? How old are the high voltage components i.e. spark plugs, cables, cap, rotor, etc.?
