I have a 2003 Dodge Neon R/T. I replaced the stock throttle body with a larger one, and while doing so, I noticed that my cruise control cable is very tight. So much so that the throttle is slightly open at idle. It doesn’t even touch the screw on the throttle body that adjusts the idle. If I manually close the throttle, my idle drops from 1000rpm to about 700rpm. What do I do to loosen this cable so that the throttle is closed at idle?
