Wanted to see if anyone has the answer to this. The past few days, my car has been making a sound in the front end that – for lack of a more apt explanation – sounds like the stereotypical sound that you hear whenever movies/TV shows have folks getting amorous in their car (the squeaking sound you hear as the car is shown rocking back and forth). It doesn’t start off right away, but it starts up after being on the road for 15 or 20 minutes. Is it the shocks, or something worse?
Could be ball joints. How many miles on the car and what make is it?
Does it sqeak in time with the wheels, when you go over bumps, or in time with the engine?
