i have a 2005 that makes a creaking noise under initial acceleration. I can make the sound as long as there is enough torque left so accelerate more. Once it’s at a steady speed, say above 30, I can’t hear it, make it do it. I’m thinking ball joints, but it doesn’t make the noise at all while turning the wheel.
Possibly an engine/trans mount. Under torque the engine and transmission do a lot of twisting and thrashing about.
