Mechanic recently changed 3 brake lines. Could changing the 3 brake lines cause the “service engine soon” light to light-up on the dash?
I don’t believe so, that light is for proper engine operation and things related to it. The brake system warning light should turn on if there is any trouble with the brakes. Unless something got disturbed while doing the work on the brake system nothing should be wrong with the engine.
