Clunking and Creaking Noise

I have a 1990 Volvo 240DL and when I go over bumps on the driver side there a clunk and a creaking noise.

Check the suspension. Ball joints and stabilizer pins are the first parts that come to mind, But if one suspension part is bad you should just have to whole suspension checked.
