Clicking sound

With the warmer weather, I’m driving my '02 Camry (107k miles) with the windows down. I’m hearing a constant clicking/ticking sound that’s exactly in synch with the speed of the car. It speeds up/slows down with the car’s speed. What’s causing this, and do I need to have it checked out? The car’s fine otherwise. Thanks!

The first thing to check is if any of the tires have something like a rock stuck in the tread or a nail/screw stuck in the tire.

Tester

Tester, Thanks, I did that, but it wasn’t the culprit.

Have you tried raising the tires off the ground, and listen if the noise is there by rotating the tires by hand?

Tester

No, but thanks for the suggestion!
