Car runs fine but makes a clicking noise which does not seem to be related to acceleration…It’s a '93 Camry, have not had many probs with it… Any ideas? Help!

Is this car equipped with an automatic transmission or a manual trans?
Is the car up to date in terms of maintenance?
How many miles are on the odometer?
Does clicking occur while engine is being started?
Does clicking occur when engine is idling?
Does clicking occur at low speed?
Does clicking occur at high speed?
Does clicking occur when engine is cold?
Does clicking occur when engine is hot?
Does clicking occur when steering wheel is turned?
Does clicking occur when steering wheel is not turned?
Does the speed/frequency of the clicking change as your speed increases?
Does clicking occur when A/C or defroster is activated?
Does clicking occur when heater is activated?
Does clicking occur when HVAC system is turned off?
Currently, this question is not very different from telephoning a doctor, stating that you have a pain somewhere in your body, and asking for a diagnosis. Once more information is provided, we can attempt to find a possible cause of the noise.
