I have a 2015 Nissan Sentra. After running over a few pot holes my car has been making a clicking noise when I brake. Any suggestions for what it could be?
It could be time for a trip to the dealer for a warranty repair.
I agree that it’s time to take the car in for a brake/chassis/tire inspection but not necessarily to the dealer. Wear or damage from potholes is not warranty related.
I’d start with the warranty and not mention the potholes. Ask for it to be diagnosed only to begin with. If the warranty will cover it, great. If not, you’ll only be out the minimum diagnostic charge, perhaps one hour’s shop time.
But I agree with ase that if it’s diagnosed as pothole damage the warranty won’t cover it.
Concur, sounds like a suspension part has been damaged. Only a visual inspection by a qualified shop can tell for certain.
