I had some rust beginning on the driver’s door at the lower seam. $300 later it’s good as new. Unfortunately, it looks lie some overspray from another car in the shop landed on the windscreen Can one of those headlamp cleaner kits be used to remove it?
Just take some non-scratching scouring powder (most of them are these days) and a damp cloth. Dust a little powder on the cloth and use that on the glass to remove the paint. Let dry, wipe off with a clean damp cloth. If the overspray is heavy, use a razor blade to scrape it off first and finish with scouring powder. The powder does a seriously good job on the rest of the glass as well.

Thanks. Hello, Bon Ami! I think the overspray is clear coat because the door shines like a mirror.

I might try a single edge razor blade scraper.

Could be overspray masking liquid/dry. Body shops apply this to surfaces that need to be protected from overspray, it can be removed with water.
Take it back to the shop and have them fix it!
