Chrysler Town & Country

Has anyone else had this problem? I have a 2000 T&C. Last year, it went dead, figured it was the battery and replaced it. Went dead again within two months, replaced the alternator (since everyplace claimed it must be that). It is still dying. No rhyme or reason. Everything is turned off before engine is killed. Occasionally there is an almost ticking sound coming from the dash, but isn’t heard outside the van. Electronic locks went crazy one day, sounded like machine guns. Can anyone give me suggestions on what to check? Thanks

Lisa

Have the battery and alternator tested. Many auto part stores will do it for free. Check both ends of all wires connected to the battery, making sure they are clean and tight.

Have someone check for dark drain on the battery. A small amount is normal, but a little more can kill batteries.

Good Luck
